Labi Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 HI, I am very new to this and a bit scared about what hotel I will end up with.I am looking for a hotel on priceline.com that is 3.5 or 4 stars (a decent one basically) for new years (dec 30th until jan 1)Any advice I should take to get something like the westin harbour for a good price? Also hoping to get a good room with a king sized bed? Am I just stuck with whatever I bid on?Please help out a newbie. I appreciate it greatly

thereuare Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! We were a little busy last nite with some off-line stuff so i'm sorry i didn't get a chance to reply.Glad to see you tried it and had success and hopefully are happy with the results. You may want to ask for help again (and maybe wait more than a few hours before moving forward) as you may have been able to get this even a little cheaper. It is usually recommend to LOWER YOUR BID IF YOU LOWER YOUR STAR RATING, you can read the linked thread if you want to read further on this subject.Still a meaningful savings over the hotel direct rate and you did well.Enjoy New Years in Toronto. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
