We were trying to decide between Element hotel and Holiday inn, where Element would be the much better deal when it comes to savings (and I prefer Westin hotels), but ended up with Holiday Inn because of the rooftop pool. Cool feature in NYC (but remains to see if we'll actually use it)! Perhaps not a super good price for NYC, but when comparing to HI site, it seemed they had increased prices a few of the days of our stay, so might be a conference or something special going on those days.
