We are going to NYC for the first time and the choices are overwhelming. I think I've narrowed to a 4 star in midtown central for location. We are going the end of May. On Hotwire the rate is $208/night. The amenities are:

Okay, I used the links. My dates are 5/28 check in and 5/31 check out.

The 4 star in Midtown Central has the following amenities:

Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurants, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access.

I also see a 3 star in Midtown Central for $200/night that only has High Speed Internet Access. I think that's probably the Ameritania.

I think I'd rather pay the extra $8/night and get a 4 star...but would like some idea of what hotel it is. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess for the 4* MTC property would be the Shoreham.
