Tried all manner of unsuccessful bids for a last minute business trip 9/14-9/21. 9/14-9/15 were optional days. The best I could find online (non-bidding) were a handful of 3* properties for a bit over $300/night. My backup plan was Ramada Lexington for $327/night.

Here's what I tried and got rejected on:

9/14-9/21 - up to $250 for all of the following zones: 3* and 4* (DT/MTW/MTE/MTS/CPS)

9/16-9/21 - up to $300 for all of the following zones: 4* (DT/MTW/MTS/MTE/CPS)

Not a great deal by any means, but cheaper than just about anything else available. Most comparable places were well over $400/night booked through other means.

Thanks for this great resource. I used (and have also in the past) the referral links here and encourage everyone else to as well.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Thank you for sharing your win with the board. I agree most other time periods this would seem very expensive (not that this isn't a lot of money), but mid-September onwards have been very difficult due to the UN being in session as well as other random events in town.

A very big thank you for using the SavingsBarn.com links (and encouraging others to do the same :) ).... we really appreciate it!

Enjoy your stay.

PS- as i always try to recommend, go to Ess-A-Bagel once morning for breakfast... it's inexpensive and offers one of the best bagels NYC has to offer.
