Hotwire "sale"

I just got an email from Hotwire advertising a "Weekend Sale". Is this really a sale? When I go to Hotwire, I get the normal screen, and there is no additional info on a discount for staying the Saturday night.

Can someone tell me if this is just bogus advertising or how it works if not?

I'm seeing sale tags on each listing. It would appear to be further discounts off the discounted rate.
