Please help! I've been bidding for three days and gone up to $160.00 in $5 and $10 increments and everything's been rejected. I used to not include Hollywood but am now trying it since BevHill/WeHo hotels are not biting.

Have you already bid up to $160 for both Beverly Hills/West Hollywood and the Hollywood zones?

At current rates i'm guessing that it will likely take between $175-195 to be successful in one of these zones.

Let us know the above regarding your previous bidding and if you're are willing to increase your budget, lower your star rating, or want to wait it out and hope for lower prices in the days ahead.

I've gone up to $170. I've exhausted bidding for today but here's basically what I did:

4* Bev/Weho - $140, rejected

Add Hollywood - $150

Add Culver City - $155, rejected

Add USC - $160, rejected

Add Lawndale - $170, rejected

Le Sigh. Not sure if I really want to lower the star rating.

Lowered my star rating to 3.5* and got the Crowne Plaza for $145/night.
