Deer7575
This was my first time bidding for a room. I was considering booking a room at the Red Roof for $59 but really wanted to stay somewhere nicer without spending too much more. I was hoping for the Cooper Mill Best Western which would have cost $79 to book. I used those prices as a guide for bidding. $59 or less would have been ideal but I wanted to stay away from bidding $79 for a room.. I started bidding for 3* hotels at $45 and increased in $5 increments. After being rejected at $55, I bid again at $59. When that was rejected I bid on 2 1/2* hotels for $59 but was rejected. I raised the bid to $65 and selected only 3* hotels and it was accepted. This is definitely not a hotel I would have chosen for myself (due to out of the way location) but I'm sure it'll be much nicer than the Red Roof and it only cost $5 more. Link to comment
