PRICELINE

Hello there. This is my first time using PRICELINE. My friends used it and got great results (most of the time).

I am looking to book a hotel in nyc around the 30-40th streets..

3.5 stars

Looking for a place of $150 per night

location is flexible around the Madison area, Time square, midtown east, etc...(near the subway station)

May 3-May 5 with late night check in

Some questions that I want to ask are:

When is the best time for me to bid and is my price reasonable?

Is it better to choose one location and then add more later or vice verse?

I would really appreciate the help. Thank you :)

Welcome to BetterBidding!

At the moment i'm guessing that it will likely take ~$175-$195 to be successful for these dates... although it costs nothing to bid (if your bid is not accepted) so certainly worthwhile to give it a try.

As far as when to bid see the related 'Bid Early or Close to Arrival' in our PRICELINE FAQ.

Including as many zones as are accepted is advantageous since it gives more hotels the opportunity to accept your bid price, which translates to the best deal possible. If you let us know which zone(s) (by PRICELINE... use the search box on the top right corner of the board to see the zone names and their boundaries on the map) and your maximum bid (if at this time it's $150 or if you're willing to raise it) we will suggest a strategy for you to follow.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
