COMMENTS:

1. I booked through HOTWIRE for these dates only after several days of unsuccessful efforts using PRICELINE. I bid multiple districts for a 4* hotel in Vancouver for several days and increased my bid to $112/night with no success. This seems to be a busy period in Vancouver.

2. Hotwire also offered me a 5* hotel in the Vancouver/Entertainment District for these dates for $135/night. Based on the amenities shown and the information on this site, it appeared to that the 5* location was The Sutton Place Hotel. After seeing some unfavorable reviews on the internet for guests who booked this hotel through Hotwire, I was reluctant to chose it and went with the 4* offer.

3. Given the prices that I found for Vancouver for these dates, I am happy with what I got.
