I know is still very far away, but im planning a 9 day vacation for a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 kid of 6)to Disney World, and i was wondering if choosing a hotel and car rental via PRICELINE is the right way to go.

dates 8/16/13 to 8/25/13

zone : Disney Maingate Celebration

Star Rate 2.5 stars, is now announced on PRICELINE in Express Deals at 36 per night (im assuming that resort fees and taxes will round up tp 50 p/n)

the rental car pick up will be in MCO

thanx

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Please confirm the amenities that are showing with the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal listing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the listing.

Additionally, please post a car rental thread in the rental section (further down the main page of the board) and we would be happy to offer our thoughts.

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

I just want to point out that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which means you may receive a room with only one bed. Orlando is a family spot so it might not be a problem but you should be aware of it.

HOTWIRE guarantees sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search... this often means two beds in the room, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc.

Thank you so much for your quick responses.

The express deal on PRICELINE for the 2.5 star has these amenities:

- Free Internet, Indoor or outdoor pool, pets allowed, restaurant, bussines center and fitness center.

for the hotwire option, is teh 2.5 star for $31, and the 3* for 41, the ammenities are:

2.5 for 31 per night:

-Free Parking, pet friendly, fitness center, pool, restaurant, bussines, accesible for the deaf, accesible path of travel, in room accesibility, accesible bathroom, handicapped parking.

3 star for 41 per night:

- Free Parking, free internet, fitness center, pool, business center, laundry facilities, high speed internet access.

One more question to de criteria, is it posible, since i have time to scout a Disney hotel (all star) in one of those sites at a discounted price?, ill go either way, but the possibility of finding a Disney Resort at $50 per night is exciting.

thanks again,

and i will continue to use the links in the forum

Sorry to say that the All Stars hotel are never reported as a HOTWIRE or PRICELINE hotels.

Can you please post the name(s) of the zones for the hotels you need an ID on. Also, did you search for two adults?

For the 2.5* HOTWIRE property my guess would be the Ramada Gateway... for the 3* my guess would be the Baymont Inn and Suite Celebration.

I don't have a guess for the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal as a property with ths amenity set has not yet been reported to the board and the amenities posted are too common for this area.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
