Priceline Hotel: want 4* on 9/23 and 9/24 at strip

New to this forum and have never bid on Priceline but reading the posts for couple months

1) Should I start the bidding for 4* in the strip now or wait few more days

2) Pls recommend starting bid and amount to increment

3) any suggestions or recommendations

4) max budget for 4* is $80

Appreciate your feedback and comments for first timer

I don't think that $80 is reasonable for these weekend dates on the strip.... do you have a back-up plan if you're not successful?

All the bids were rejected so I booked the hotel directly and paid 100/night at Alladin
