roaming_jane
I used the BiddingHelper.com on this site for the first time and I chose Priceline/Hoboken/4*. But instead of the normal blank spot where you can type in your own bid, it started with an amount of $178 and an arrow to lower the price. It would only lower to $119. I never saw this feature before, so curiosity got the better of me and I let it ride to see what would happen. Yesterday, I bid the regular way starting with $85 and got up to $105 with nothing accepted, so I figured $119 would be rejected as well....don't ask me why! Anyway, it was accepted and I got the Hyatt Regency. I am happy enough, but was hoping for the W in Hoboken, and feel like perhaps I could have gotten this same hotel for a bit less. Still so much to learn- like patience! No matter what, I always get a great deal through betterbidding! Thanks for a great site. Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. :)Very nice deal for this property! Hope you are looking forward to your stay. The new price box is a bit fussy - the arrow only seems to come up when clicking on certain star ratings and not others, but it looks like you can enter a lower price again if you click on the box, delete and add in a new number.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
