Anyway, maybe I paid too much I don't know bcoz my 1st bid of 75$ for a 4 star San Francisco hotel was accepted & I gor the Hilton, but I'm really happy with the price for this category of hotel. Whereas I've been trying unsuccessfully to get a 3 star hotel in monterey for 100$..Thanks for all the info regarding priceline, I would never have attempted to use this reservation service if it wasn't for this site.
