AaronJB Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 I'd guess the Red Lion would be a likely possibility and the Crowne Plaza may also be a possibility.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Ronin_ Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 I just booked that deal but for $64 a night on my stay between 5/9 - 5/12, it is in fact the Red Lion.I would say that I am a bit peeved with myself, I got mixed up for another deal on a HOTWIRE, a 3* room for $61 that is most likely the Crowne Plaza. I dont know how much more 1/2* gives me, but I loved our stay at the Crowne Plaza last time. I am sure the rooms at the Red Lion are nice, but lets face it, we are going to spend most of our time at Disneyland. The Red Lion has a the extra charge for parking that is $15 a night and I dont know if there is a suttle to Disneyland nor what the cost to ride that suttle is. The Crowne Plaza has free parking and a free shuttle although there is a $14 resort tax (but I belive it is alread included in the hotwire fees). Sure the Red Lion is closer to Disneyland, but it's still over 1/2 mile away from the suttle drop off area in Disneyland. So if I had the chance to do it all over again I would make sure I went with the 3* Deal (90% sure it's the Crowne Plaza) with the free parking.
