Looking for some help with bidding in Winnipeg. I am going to UFC 161 with a group in June. Do not have to be near the arena if it saves money, though it helps.

I have tried bidding on 3 star properties in Winnipeg and Winnipeg South, and have gone up to $80 but have not hit. Is the range going to be way higher than that? Past posted wins seemed to be around that level. Trying not to go above the $90 range, and am willing to go down a star level. I don't have any experience with Winnipeg hotels, so didn't try for those yet.

I'm a little surprised you haven't been accepted, but you're likely not far from a win. HOTWIRE has a 4* in the downtown zone for $105 - you may be able to get a 4* at the $87-95 level.

I have been trying since my original post with no luck on the 3-4 star categories. I dropped down to 2.5 stars and won tonight.
