I just tried 145 without luck. I am wondering if that number will work on the strip north. The 5 stars there are Palazzo, Venetian and Wynn

I think you're likely looking at $170-200 at the 5* level in either zone, although I'd try lower points before moving up to that range.

Do you think it will go lower if I wait. Usually in Orlando, I don't even bid until I am in town. I seem to get good deals if I am 2 hours from check in. Will that work in Vegas?

This is fairly "last minute" as hotels go - if something is going on that's causing these date/s to be elevated rate-wise, rates may not come down and stay around these levels (or go higher.) There's no way to know, but rates heading lower at the last minute does not always occur.

Finally bagged this hotel At 175. I had bid 100,120,140,150,160,170 The problem is the Saturday night which is about $369 on most sites.
