M+D Posted April 21, 2013 Report Posted April 21, 2013 Hello, using the links I have found the following:4.5-star All-inclusive hotel in Riviera Cancun - Puerto MorelosThis All-inclusive hotel features the following amenities:ResortFree ParkingFree BreakfastFree InternetBeachfront PropertyFood and Beverages IncludedPremium Brand Beverages IncludedA la Carte Dining OptionsWater Sports/Ocean Activities IncludedEvening Entertainment IncludedDaily Activities IncludedFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesAll-InclusiveThe dates of travel I am looking for are Nov. 20-27, with a nightly rate of $201.00 I have noted through old posts and the list that the Valentin Imperial Maya has been won by other users in the past year under a 4.5*, but is currently showing on most sites as a 4*. Do you think this is still that resort, or more likely something different? Thank you!

M+D Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Ok, thank you. That's what I thought, but the details just seemed a little strange to me because the hotel is always shown on search engines as "Playa Secreto," not Puerto Morelos, and it said there were no reviews yet from users. I know several people have successfully booked the VIM via hotwire in the past, so it seemed strange that it had no reviews. I was hoping it might be another property, so I think I will hold off on this particular booking. Thanks for the input!
thereuare Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 It's not uncommon for the 'percent recommended' shown by HOTWIRE to change a little from one search to the next, as well as sometimes to revert to 'still gathering reviews'... this aspect is not a reliable indicator to help in trying to identify hotels. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated on your progress or let us know if we can be of further help along the way.
