garcilamd Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I'm trying to identify these hotels on hotwire for Oct21-23, 2005.These are in the Lake Buena Vista- Downtown Disney area.90$/night (3 stars)Condo, 1B, Fully-equipped kitchen, pool, a/c, washer/dryer in room, fitness center, free parking, front desk74$/night Best Value! (3 stars)Hotel, Suite, complimentary breakfast, pool, fitness center, golf nearby, business center, laundry facilitiesAlso, is there an updated hotel list for the lake buena vista area?Thank you so much for the help. I'm in a wedding party and the block sold out almost immediately so I'm in a bind.
thereuare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! All hotel lists on the board are updated as we get new information, the dates you see are the dates the lists were created, and they have been edited every since. Not sure of the above properties (note that the first one has more amenties than you listed, if you click "view complete amenity list and more details") and the 2nd one is throwing me as we don't often see the Suite icon without some type of kitchenette icon associated with it as well.Which property are the remainder of the wedding guests staying at? garcilamd Posted September 11, 2005 Author Report Posted September 11, 2005 They are staying at the Hilton in the Walt Disney Resort at 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard.I have a room reserved there for the dates I need but it is costing me $186/night and was hoping to find a cheaper deal.
thereuare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 If you're close enough with either the bride/groom (or their family) ask them to see if they can speak to their contact at the hotel to get you an additional room at the block rate. When my wife and i got married they told a a guest that they were sold-out but a quick phone call to our hotel contact got us an additional room without a problem.
