This is essentially "last minute" as hotels go. I think you're likely not far away from a win in Alexandria - there's a 4* on HOTWIRE for $96 for these date/s.

On PRICELINE, are you okay with staying in National Harbor? 4* is able to be selected in that zone, so you may get a hotel if you select that zone and 4* - it's not a re-bid zone. Explanation of re-bidding: Priceline Re-bidding thread. Please let us know if you have any questions before bidding.

Ya know, it's really difficult to argue against a reasonable idea. Great advice. I took it. $96 through Hotwire, which turned out to be Hotel Monaco. I'm happy with that.

I think this is really a terrific deal for this Kimpton boutique, and the free wine social hour at night is a plus.
