Lindy34 Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 I'm on a tight budget and I like to know what's the best price to bid to get accepted. I tried $50 & $60 and was rejected. :(
AaronJB Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)You're likely not far off - at the 4* level, I'm guessing $65-78.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Lindy34 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Report Posted April 17, 2013 Thank you. I shall raise my bid every $5 each time.

Lindy34 Posted April 18, 2013 Author Report Posted April 18, 2013 I have Bid up to $75 and still not accepted. :( I've seen some people bid were accepted at $70. I'm on the race with airfare and hotel right now. If I don't get a hotel, I might missed my deal on airfare. I'm hoping not to spend over $85 per night.

I came across the Express deal At $93 per night for a 4* Lax airport hotel. I was wondering if anyone has a coupon code I can use? This might just work out the same budget as I had planned. Thanks so much!
Romelle Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 When people find coupon deals, they usually post them in the Bonus Money Opportunities area. I've also had some luck with searching on "companyname coupon".I know there is one in the Entertainment Book, if you happen to have one of those. RomellePS - I usually figure good deals on airfare are a lot harder to find than good deals on hotels. IMO - pin down that airfare, and then worry about the hotel.PPS - Hotwire's 4* LAX for your dates is $84.
Lindy34 Posted April 19, 2013 Author Report Posted April 19, 2013 I finally won the bid @ $86/ nite @ 4* Hilton LAX airport. Just found out self parking cost $27! Not sure if I still consider that as a deal after all.....
