nebulus Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 I used the PRICELINE link from this site. All other bidders, please remember to do the same.Taxes are an additional $40 per night, so the all-in total is $225 per night. I started bidding on Monday night, I went up incrementally from 130 to 150, but got no takers. After studying the Priceline maps on this site and reading other posts on Tuesday night, I saw that the prices I was bidding were probably too low for this time of year. I then started with a bid of $185 (lower then the $200's range I saw on the map). It took. I probably should have started lower, but I am still seeing a good savings over other web sites for the same hotel. This will be the first time for my wife and I in New York. After finding this site and reading about the zones (as well as talking to people I know), it sounded like MTE is a good place to stay. Thanks for having this site. I have been using Priceline for many years on my own, and I look forward to using this site to help with my future bidding.
