coldtoes Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 So, I am looking to book a hotel in Downtown Seattle (Pike Place), and was surprised to see that there are now 4*, 4.5*, and 5* hotels available there. Has anybody gotten anything above a 4*? Does anybody know which hotels are the 4.5 and 5* ones? I'm looking at booking for the April 27th-28th weekend, and am surprised that I haven't gotten anything yet. Not sure - is there something going on that weekend in Seattle? Thanks,
Romelle Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 If you watch the Hotel List (first post in this Priceline - Washington (state) area - you can see when somebody has reported a successful bid for those higher star levels. I didn't see one just yet.Meanwhile, if you take a look at the retail side of Priceline you can get at least an idea of the kinds of hotels might be obtained by bidding. There can of course be hotels on the bidding side not listed on the retail side, and vice versa. Hotwire has a 4* Downtown for your dates, so that is an indication of the general level of bidding necessary.Romelle
