Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* Singapore (Orchard) Royal Plaza on Scotts

Finally booked my Singapore hotel on Hotwire. My first time at Hotwire and was nervous, but thanks to Betterbidding.com I knew it would be Royal Plaza on Scotts.

Had tried multiple Priceline bids for a 5* hotel in Orchard & Marina bay area upto SGD 205 (USD 165) my max budget, but no luck. So settled for RP @ Hotwire.

Would the hotel be able to confirm a double bed rather than a twin bed? For people who have used Hotwire, just wanted to know that hotels don't treat bidders as 2nd class right??

Bedding is not guaranteed, but you can try calling or writing the hotel and seeing if they will note your request on your reservation.

Great news for Singapore. I am going in November - and Royal Plaza on Scotts looks very fine.
