There are so many other hotels in the area, how do I know its is the offer is for the right hotel?

There is no way to bid for a particular property on PRICELINE - if you bid for a 4* (for example) in a particular zone, you have to be willing to accept *any* 4* in that particular zone. With HOTWIRE, one can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing based on the information given, but there is usually only one hotel at each star rating in each zone for each set of date/s and it may not be the hotel you are looking for (and additionally, some hotels may appear the same way.) In general, both services require flexibility. Are you only interested in the Westin, or would other, comparable hotels in the area be acceptable?
