aleyzonme Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 So I'm pretty sure the following is The Cosmopolitan... I'm just wondering if others have booked The Cosmo and were given 2 queen beds instead of 1 king. I'm only putting 2 people 1 room to save $ even though it's 4 of us. Can anyone share they're experience.Dates: 7/3 - 7/6$93/night4.0 out of 5.0 on TripadvisorAmenities IncludeFree ParkingPet friendlyCasinoFitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterSpa ServicesAccessible for the blindAccessible for the deafAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityWheelchair accessibleAccessible bathroomHandicapped parkingRoll-in showerThanks in advance.
yellowdog Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding :) Yes, I agree with you. Best guess would be Cosmopolitan for this hotel. You'll likely get a standard room and the standard rooms at Cosmo got 2 queen beds. But please wait for an opinion from thereuare later today about the beds.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
aleyzonme Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 I figured it would be two beds also since that's the cheapest room. I just want to see if anyone knows for sure.
thereuare Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 If you haven't yet please start by reading your messages. The Cosmopolitan is being offered frequently on HOTWIRE right now and offering some GREAT rates, but prior to the least week or so we seldom seen or won, so i don't think there is much history nor any specific reports of what type of room was received. HOWEVER, even if another user received a room with two beds, or a room with one bed, it may have little to do with the type of room you receive as so much is based upon hotel occupancy for your specific dates and availability at time of check-in. With these previous comments noted, based upon the fact that the 'standard' room at the Cosmopolitan has two beds, i would think that is the most likely room type you will receive, but you could always be in a situation where you get a room with only one bed (ie- the front desk clerk could do you a 'favor' by upgrading you to the next room class OR the hotel could be sold-out of standard rooms (or none ready when you check-in) and you're assigned a room with only one bed)Vegas is usually slow in the summer so there would be a greater likelihood of room vacancies, but it's also July 4th holiday so the 'typical' summer occupancy may not apply for these specific dates. You're likely heading to Vegas to gamble... do you want make your first bet at check-in? :lol:Let us your thoughts and/or what you decide or how we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
