Started bidding at $150, then $170, and then on the third bid $180 (I added Time Square and then Midtown West zones in order to rebid).

Note the Taxes & Fees, which actually brings the room rate to $220 per night. The total cost through Expedia (today - April 14, 2013) would have been $704.25 (with taxes & fees) even though the room rate through Expedia was listed as $201.52. So the taxes & fees seem to be higher when purchasing through PRICELINE. I was expecting at least a $60 savings over Expedia, instead it was only $45. Not complaining though, still happy to have a savings.

This property is right down the street from my often recommended Adrienne's Pizza Bar... it's a restaurant, not a slice shop, and they have excellent 'grandma style' pizza (think of a not as thick crusted sicilian pizza). It's reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients, although drinks are on the high side as they are in most NYC restaurants.
