I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I just doublechecked and it's still showing at $187 a night for June 24-Jun25 for 1 night. 2 adults, 1 room. and the area is City Center - Duomo - La Scala.

I noticed that this one has the same amenities as the 4.5* that I asked for your guess before and your guess was Melia Milano. Could Hotwire just change the start rating for the same hotel within a few day search?

I believe the 5* may in fact be an upgraded Melia Milano Convention Center... the star rating has to change at some point in time, you may have just hit it before and after the upgrade.

I'm sorry i don't have a guess for the 4* Duomo property.

Ending up getting the hotel through PRICELINE. Dates 6/24/13-6/25/13 for 1 night. It's Melian Milano in Northwest Zone rated as 4*. $120 per night with taxes and fees and it came out to $141.40.
