milehighmofo Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 I've never used hotwire, but I really want to stay at the Chicago Park Hyatt for 9/20 and 21. Hotwire lists a 4 1/2 * hotel with Restaurant(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Business Center for $309 (YIKES- but surely better than the $440+rates on Expedia). Any advice from the pro's out there?Your help is appreciated.
thereuare Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! Is this in the Mag Mile-Wacker Drive zone? If so this is a match for the Le Meridien and that would be our best guess.I think $300+ is a lot of money for a hotel room when there are 4* properties going for well under $200/nite... just my two cents. If you do choose to book direct please use our HYATT link as it helps support the board.Let us know what you decide for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
lindabobhat Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 What zone is it in? My guess is that it's either the Le Meridien (if Mag Mile/Wacker Drive) or the Drake (if NMA.) I don't think the Park Hyatt has ever been reported on this site as having come up on Hotwire. I believe it would be in the NMA zone, if it were to appear on Hotwire. If that's where you truly want to stay, you will likely have to book it directly (or you can be like me and enroll in Gold Passport and try to accumulate enough points staying at other Hyatts in the hopes of redeeming a free night at the Park Hyatt - this is going to take me years, though!)
milehighmofo Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 Thanks for the info...the Park Hyatt is located in the Mag Mile/Wacker Drive zone. I'll be sure to check out the Hyatt link- right now, in fact.
