I'm looking to book a room for my parents in the River North/Water Tower or Gold Coast neighborhoods for May 10th to May 13th, 4 to 5 stars... I live in Old Town so somewhere nearby is preferable. Any help identifying the hotels I found below using your HOTWIRE link is greatly appreciated.

Also, is anyone aware of any other "nice" boutique hotels available via Hotwire in the Gold Coast area? Is the PUBLIC hotel now rated 3.5 instead of 4 stars?

The 5* Mag Mile-WT has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but the Park Hyatt, Peninsula, Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton would be possibilities (although I think the Peninsula is probably the least likely.)

4.5* Mag Mile-RN - possible match for the Intercontinental

4* Gold Coast - If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the red SHOW ME button next to this offer (the one with the price in it), then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more than what you've posted above?

The Public has not yet been reported to the board on HOTWIRE, but I do see a potential match for the Indigo in the Gold Coast for $107. Would that be of interest?

The $153 per night Gold Coast listing is no longer showing. There is another 4* Gold Coast hotel for $163 per night with the following amenities:

I'm now seeing a 5-star hotel in Gold Coast- Lake Shore Drive area for dates May 9-12 for $318 per night... using the HOTWIRE link, of course.

I'm not currently seeing any 5* property offered in the Gold Coast zone when searching HOTWIRE for your dates so i can't do any of the checks/confirmations that i like, but if you're still seeing this property the Four Seasons would be my best guess for this one.
