Romelle Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 My son is going to a Boston (Cambridge) computer event this next weekend. It is also the Boston Marathon. Because his event has long hours, he preferred Cambridge, but eventually looked at all the other inner city zones.I bid for him up to $146 for 4*, and up to $136 for all the other star levels (including 1* after we got desperate). I bid both the three day span and just the Saturday night. Nada. Not even counter-offers.There also weren't any inner-city Hotwire deals. There was a $106 Motel 6 in Braintree he considered. It is right on the Red Line, which passes through the Cambridge area, so could have worked. But actually staying in Cambridge will work better for him. So he cobbled together one night at a youth hostel (he is no longer a youth, but actually enjoys them), one night via Airbnb, and one night at a B&B. I post this just in case somebody else is also struggling with these dates. Saturday night (4/13/13) seemed to be the highest of all.Romelle
