not seeing the show me button...price was 114.00 now 134.00 possible chatham bars or oceanedge...looks as if oceanedge could be mansion or villa...would not want villa...just mansion...

I don't belive this is the Chatham Bars. It could be a new a new listing for the Ocean Edge Resort but I'm far from sure.

Just booked trough this link 4 star Chatham Brewster area...Ocean Edge Resort...for this weekend...hoping for this price that it will be the mansion rooms not the villas..as the villas were only 5 difference on hotel website...we shall see...

Well I have to say that my excitement is short lived...upon calling the hotel to see what type of room, I was so disappointed when the girl at front desk asked why I just didn't book it through hotel as it was the same RATE....wow...not exactly the hotwire deal I was expecting....

Now I know nothing is guaranteed...but I did think I would be getting some type of deal...guess not...so ...I guess using hotwire is not all it is cracked up to be...live and learn....

Did you learn if you're in the Mansion or Villas? What room type were you assigned?

Deals can certainly be had on HOTWIRE, but you do have to check rates of any hotel(s) guessed to see just how much/little of a deal you're receiving (also, the hotel doesn't know what rate you paid... only the rate that they are getting from HOTWIRE).

In the future try our BiddingHelper.com which will help you quickly and easily research rates from PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, and 'retail' so you know what the going rate is thru conventional booking channels.
