sliver91 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 Hi guys, i`m searching for a 4* or 3 1/2* hotel in these areas - West hollywood/Beverlyhills - Brentwood/Westwood- for 6/6/13 until 6/9/13!my bidding history goes up to 140$ for 4* and 130$ for a 3 1/2* hotel - 140$ is my max budget pre tax per night - but with no success!any ideas or help for me?i am trying since 2 weeks every day but i`m not able to get something to go - is it possible that i`m just to early with bidding? i always see posts with winning bidds in april or may nothing in june or later?thanks for help! AaronJB Posted April 7, 2013 Report Share Posted April 7, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, these areas look pricey for these dates - if you have already bid up to your match, then you can either continue to bid up to your max every few dates in the hopes that new inventory opens up or look at alternate areas - I think you could easily get something in budget in the downtown area. sliver91 Posted April 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2013 no i dont want to take a hotel in the downtown area.. i really want to stay in these 2 areas - additional santa monica, but there its also very expensive... - why are these dates so expensiv? do you think splitting could help? no other ideas? do you think rates will drop?thanks for your help!! Unfortunately, these particular zones look expensive throughout this period - splitting is not likely going to help in this instance. There's no way to know if rates will come down closer to your stay - they may go higher if demand comes in higher than expected, or may stay around these levels.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
