First time using Priceline, and yes, I did click through the PRICELINE link on this site!

Bid 1: Beacon Hill $90 FAIL

Bid 2: Beacon Hill + Boston Common/Theater District: $95 (got counteroffer for $116 - refused)

Bid 3: Beacon Hill + Boston Common/Theater District + Quincy Market/Financial District: $100 FAIL

Bid 4: Beacon Hill + Boston Common/Theater District + Quincy Market/Financial District + Copley/Back Bay: $105 WON OMNI BOSTON PARKER HOUSE

I guess I was a bit surprised that I got a counter offer at $95, but not another at $100...I guess William Shatner isn't a traditional negotiator...

I do get in to Boston Logan LATE on 4/15 (actually 0130am on 4/16) and it seems that all the hotels in town have skewed prices on 4/15 for the Boston Marathon. Anyone know of a good deal on a hotel with airport shuttle in the Boston area where I can just take a quick snooze from about 2am til 6 am?? (Probably technically 4/15 check-in in hotel terms...)

No luck yet on either site for a deal on a hotel with airport shuttle for that Monday night. Going to keep looking...but just might have to bite the bullet and pay 200+ or cash in Hilton points for the airport Hilton.
