Would like to book in Curacao. Priceline has listed a 4* hotel in Curacao for $98.00/night under the best chance section. I need a hotel with a beach but it doesnt list beach as part of the hotel amenitie- only pool, restaurant, free parking, casino, fitness center and business center. Any ideas on which one this might be? I really need to a beach or my kids will not be impressed. Dates are March 12- 19th

Welcome to BetterBidding!

If you need a beach, and the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer doesn't show a beach amenity, then i would think there would be too much risk in purchasing any opaque hotel that doesn't show a beach amenity. We could take an educated guess, but what if that guess is wrong?

Also unless you're booking more than one room, note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request.

You may want to consider HOTWIRE where searching for 2adults/2children (i don't know the actual occupancy you need) for your dates shows a 4* hotel at $138/nite that lists 'Beachfront' as an amenity.

Resort

Free Parking

Beachfront

Casino

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Laundry

Hi-Speed Internet

Tennis

Spa

Childrens Activities

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Handicapped Parking

Roll-in Shower

... my guess for this one would be the Hilton Curacao.

Would this work for your plans?

winning bid ended up being for the construction view rooms since they are building the ritz next door but called because we needed connecting rooms for the kids and they upgraded us no charge. super friendly and nice. loved this resort especially the $110.00 price

By chance, what was the cost of the taxes involved?

I'm comparing rates to some flight+hotel deals and wanted to get a final price per night.

Thanks!

If you go through the process for your date/s, you should be given a total w/taxes and fees early in the check-out process (just don't finalize the offer, only start the process.)
