Hotwire Hotel: new york

Hi

Very new to this,

I thought it was going to be fairly easy with 2 adults and a 4 night trip to new york

but now my adult son is coming so I am in need of help. We are looking to stay near Penn station

4 nights 1/5 - 5/5 2 beds if possible but will accept 1 bed and sofa bed for a total $1200.

any thoughts appreciated.

The issue with NYC is that many rooms - even at the 3.5*/4* level - are not big enough to fit a rollaway, let alone a sofa bed. Some rooms at the 3.5*/4* level are as small as around 150 sq ft.

If you are three people, I would suggest searching for three adults on HOTWIRE - doing so should ensure some form of bedding for the entire party. PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy, and probably nowhere in the US is this more true than in NYC.
