Gotar Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Hi, i'm looking for one room in Hollywood or (if i can't get one in Hollywood) Downtown. It would be no problem to change Hotel after one week. That's what i tried so far (of course with your links!):Hollywood 06/08-06/2185,90,95,100,105Hollywood and Downtown 06/08-06/2180,85,90,95,100Hollywood 06/08-06/1585,90,95,100,105Sadly i didn't get a Hotel for that price. Should i wait? Maybe the prices will come down?
AaronJB Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Gotar Posted April 2, 2013 Author Report Posted April 2, 2013 What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay?I would say around $130.
yellowdog Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 GotarI took a look at the current prices for your Hollywood and Downtown 06/08-06/21 stay. And it looks doable. I would continue bidding in $5 steps up to $115 and $3 after that. And i also looked at your option for Hollywood 06/08-06/15. But it don't happens anything special with the prices. So i would advise you to stick for the complete stay untill you reach max budget. And start looking for options after that.It looks likes your best bet would be Hollywood but things can change very fast.Just let us know if you have any further questions. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
AaronJB Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 I will note that I'm seeing rates for 6/14-21 separately that appear noticeably cheaper than when looking at 6/8-14 on their own. 6/14-21 on HOTWIRE has a 4* Hollywood for $122 and a 4* LA Downtown for $116. There's not even a 4* available in either zone when searching for 6/8-14, and the cheapest is a 3.5* in Downtown for $198. I think you will have no problem staying under max budget for 6/14-21, but 6/8-14 may prove at least somewhat problematic (may have to look at lower star ratings, other zones or other alternatives.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Gotar Posted April 5, 2013 Author Report Posted April 5, 2013 I booked this Hotel (Tripadvisor) through the normal Priceline booking page (Priceline Hotels 06/08-06/14) for 25$ per Night! It's not in the regions i would have liked the most, but how could i resits that? :)Now i need another Hotel for 7 nights (06/14-06/21)
