Tennieee Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Trying for Miami Airport Area for 2* hotel at $30. added other areas north miami, rebid added miami lakes and others not far from that area. I upped bid to $35. Still denied. So I added the Miami Beach area, because there were no *2 stars reported in that area, wrong again..tennieee. Got Days Inn on the beach ...and also a rash. :) Also I bid for this 2 am in the morning, the day of my stay. Add this hotel to your list.
thereuare Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 From PRICELINE RE-BIDDING, the correct way to determine re-bid zones:The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.As well, there is a warning at the top of every hotel list on the board advising against the method that you used.If you're new to Priceline please feel free to ask for help before bidding and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding for your next hotel room. We're thankful for the new hotel to add to our lists, but would hope it wouldn't come at the expense of your disappointment.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
