Tburr Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Today (Sept 6, 2005) I went to bid on a 4* Bloomsbury-Marble Arch hotel in London for October 31 - November 4, 2005.I places a bid for $66.00. It told me it was unlikely (I should have tried anyhow :) So I put in a bid for $75.00 (with services/taxes it came out to $90.00 prt night, not bad for a central London hotel. It was accepted for the Thistle Marble Arch. I checked on their website and checked the rates for the hotel. It would have been $189.00 PER night. So I saved almost $100.00 per night! I cannot complain about that at all! :)
