ponku
Hi, I am looking to book a 4* hotel in Brentwood/West Hollywood area for 6 nights. We have tried the following and no luck yet:-booked 6 nights all together, highest bid @ 90/100/105/120, tried re-bidding zones (Culver City/Inglewood/Lawndale/USC)-Splitting the days to 2 night @ 90/100/110/120, tried re-bidding zones (Culver City/Inglewood/Lawndale/USC)Could anyone suggest any bidding strategy? Should we raise the price or split the days differently?Or should we try another area like Hollywood or Pasadena?Any help as always would be appreciated! Thanks :) Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. What would be your desired max bid for this stay? Which zone/s would be acceptable?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
ponku
Maximum bid.. $130? I just need to know what the reasonable range is.We would like to stay close to Beverly Hills or Hollywood. Pasadena would be an option too.We don't know LA too well so any advise would be appreciated. :) Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Hollywood zone for $115/nite:Pet Friendly Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... best guess for this property would be the Loews.Does this work well for your plans OR do you want to try bidding on PRICELINE and include the Hollywood zone in your bidding? Assuming we're correct that this is the Loews, it is in the western part of the Hollywood zone which is closest to the Beverly Hills-West Hollywood zone... if you bid on PRICELINE you may get something more east in the Hollywood zone which wouldn't be as close.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed (or how it goes if you go with the HOTWIRE offer above) and we'll take it from there. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

We looked at hotels in Hollywood and saw Roosevelt's review.. I am not a big fan of those 100 year old hotels. :o Do you recommend other places? or how much do you think the max bid should be for Westwood/Brentwood area.We also looked at Pasadena, but there isn't such zone on priceline. What do you suggest? yellowdog
ponkuPlease keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same stay. Best guess would be that this is a new amenitie combo for Hotel Angeleno. Please use the board’s HOTWIRE link, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.PS. Please don't copy/paste to your thread... post only the icon names (and not the full descriptions that go along with it) as it will make your post easier for us to read. :) Link to comment
