Hotwire Hotel: 3* Miami (South Beach - Oceanfront Collins) Richmond Hotel

Hi,

Prices are starting to drop for our May 15-18th trip to Miami on Hotwire and I'm trying to ID this hotels on hotwire. I feel like we're at the sweet spot regarding to timing at 6-ish weeks out for booking our hotel.

Based on all the amenities and comparing it to the list of known hotel wins, this sounds like it's the Richmond Hotel. I think I'd be happy with as I'm not a (really) fussy tourist. But I'd be kidding myself if I didn't say that the 45% rating has me freaked a bit from pulling the trigger.

Any ideas if you think it's the Richmond or something else?

I'm thinking it's the James Royal Palms. The resort fee would be a bummer though because it doesn't include the parking and I know parking is a fortune in SoBe.

It ended up being The Richmond Hotel.

I'm glad, this was the location we wanted to be in and the price fits our budget. Especially since I've been watching this hotel drop in price over the last few weeks. For once my procrastination paid off! For the next three days HOTWIRE is offering a $10 coupon for hotel bookings for new email subscribers, so a quick sign up brought my total down $10. After the trip I'll post a quick review.
