cheezwis902 Posted March 28, 2013 Report Share Posted March 28, 2013 4* SLOPESIDE RESORT showed up today with NO RESORT FEE and a nightly price well under $200. I snagged it in a hurry. Turns out it was a mistake by the hotel, they forgot to notify Hotwire of the resort fee, so Hotwire ate the cost of the resort fee for me when I called them. I'd been to the hotel web site once I learned which one it was, and they actually DO charge one, they just hadn't included it as a warning before you book.So I got The Lodge at Vail for 2 nights in the heart of Vail Village for $178 and no resort fee and it's still ski season with great snow in Vail finally. Thank you Hotwire and Better bidding!Only rooms available for the resort on Expedia and at the hotel were $337. I got a DEALAmenities were: Resort Free Internet Slopeside Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby No Resort Fee mentioned Link to comment
