Really was hoping for Embassy Suites this time, but this will be fine before our flight back to Europe. Priceline is really making it difficult to find Name Your Own Price on their site -- took quite a while before I got past their shop, compare, save.

I've heard others say that all hotels at this level are fine, but the Embassy Suites is the outside 'jackpot' hotel if you can get it.

No, I had tried up to $80 for Santa Monica (I knew there would be no chance) and Beverly Hills-W. Hollywood (practically no chance) and then decided that for the few hours of each day that we'll be at the hotel before flying home on the 11th (over a month travelling including a cruise from San Diego to Hawaii) a 3* at LAX would be o.k. We also got the Radisson for the arrival night in October.
