Hiya, i have just joined this forum and i am looking at bidding for Midtown East 4* Hotels in New York for 7 nights 10th-17th December 2013.

I am unsure what starting bid to put in and what maximum i should go to?

I almost purchased a 4* hotel on hotwire today but when i processed everything it came up at the end no more hotels left at this rate, the rate went up so i tried again and got the same message so left it that. That was £800 for the whole stay.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Welcome to Betterbidding.

Traditionally this is a very expensive time period, with holiday shopping and festivities. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay?

Please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
