Stayed here several times and it is a nice property. Just trying to get a room for one night which can be challenging in Reno because they push for 2 night bookings, plus I wanted to secure a bed for the kids so PRICELINE has a disadvantage for that booking.

I used HOTWIRE and had the same offer coming up at $99 for only 2 people but when I switched it to include 2 kids the price came back at $100. For a dollar more I figured it was well worth not dealing with the, "we can't guarantee a room until check in" line that the Peppermill was giving me at their "local" price of $111 plus tax etc. I really did not want to deal with the hassle of dragging out and hauling around a air mattress and sleeping bag for the possibility of a "we can't get you a double scenario" unfolding upon our arrival.

Please keep in mind... this was not through PRICELINE it was a direct call to the hotel to book a room. It surprised me that a upscale hotel can't promise what bed set-up you will get until arrival. I do know the Tuscany suites are assigned having stayed in those several times. (Really nice rooms if you get one of those!)

Cab ride to the baseball park is about $7 one way, so this is a good property if your thinking of catching a Aces game and might have few cold ones while enjoy the game.
