islaygirl Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Hi! First off, thanks for all the help, i've been a lurker on this site for a couple of years and really value the advice! I'm planning a trip to Boston for 4/8-12 and trying for a 3-1/2 or 4 star hotel in Back Bay or Theatre District. I've gone up as high as $125 and just not having any luck - should i just resign myself to paying more, or is there some other angle i could try? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
AaronJB Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding and thank you for your compliments on the site. It would be greatly appreciated if you could post details of prior stays, as the information can still assist others. What would be your desired max bid per night for this stay? Rates are on the higher side, and at this point with the stay only a couple of weeks away, I can't see rates changing very significantly.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
islaygirl Posted March 25, 2013 Author Report Posted March 25, 2013 Well, after a week of failed bids, I started today at my previous high and got accepted right away (drat. should have started lower!) Got Loews Back Bay 4* for 125/night, April 8-12.
