Hi! First off, thanks for all the help, i've been a lurker on this site for a couple of years and really value the advice!

I'm planning a trip to Boston for 4/8-12 and trying for a 3-1/2 or 4 star hotel in Back Bay or Theatre District. I've gone up as high as $125 and just not having any luck - should i just resign myself to paying more, or is there some other angle i could try?

What would be your desired max bid per night for this stay? Rates are on the higher side, and at this point with the stay only a couple of weeks away, I can't see rates changing very significantly.

Well, after a week of failed bids, I started today at my previous high and got accepted right away (drat. should have started lower!)

Got Loews Back Bay 4* for 125/night, April 8-12.
