Updated - went for it on Hotwire and ended up with Palmer House (thought for sure it would be Hard Rock based on amenities). This will be a great stay though, nice old-school hotel.

Sorry to hear that the result wasn't the Hard Rock, but a nice deal for the Palmer. Thank you for letting us know about the change in amenity set for this HOTWIRE property so that we can update the site's Hotwire Hotel List.

It's not the greatest restaurant, but a reasonable/value option down the way from your hotel (30 S Wabash) is Flat Top Grill (http://flattopgrill.com/menu.html) - it's a make your own Stir Fry (they also have a breakfast option) and you can keep going back if you select that option.
