Welcome to BetterBidding!

Is the Millennium Park zone the only one that is accepted for this stay or is the NMA zone acceptable as well?

Are you familiar with re-bidding? If not, see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding (NOTE: if you're new to the subject of re-bidding it's highly recommended you confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding).

What is your maximum bid for this trip?

Tried again tonight with 3 bids (using re-zone technique) and still rejected at $88. Would like to stay under $100. Is that unreasonable? Is April 27 a busy sat night? Over $100 plus taxes makes me think I should shop around and not use Priceline? Going to a party atbthe art institute and would like to stay close to there but would comsider the mag mile area. Should I try that zone as well? Thanks

A $100 bid price may not be unreasonable, but at the moment under $100 all-in looks like it may be tough.

No, it's not busy, but sub-$100 all-in during the Spring in Chicago when the weather is nice is hardly a sure thing.

Over $100 plus taxes makes me think I should shop around and not use Priceline?

Using MAPS and HOTELS.com search for within 1 mile of Grant Park Chicago and then filter the results to only 4* and above hotel, then sort by price... what is the best price you're able to find at a 4* property?

The cheapest 4* in the Loop on Expedia is $169 (the Palmer.) As noted above, I think you're probably pretty close, and I'd try $90, $95, $100, $105. HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Palmer for $115.

The Mag Mile area appears moderately more expensive.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE (or Expedia) links to start your purchases and searches.
