hopeland Posted March 20, 2013 Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 Very pleased to win this hotel and to report this new listing to BetterBidding.com.As always, used BiddingHelper.com to search and win.Actually booked two different itins - one for each night - as it was cheaper to do so than book both together.Retail rates for the Grand America are about $229/night average - Friday is much less expensive than Thursday night.The Grand America is one of the nicer hotels anywhere. The smallest room is over 700 sq. feet most are 800 sq. ft + suites. Decor and service are similar to a Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons property. I typically go for the more modern sleek look in a hotel. The Grand America is the complete opposite of that, but I'll gladly make an exception for this place.When I got to the big hotel name reveal, it was about the least shocking thing ever as there is no other hotel in SLC remotely close to a 5*.Amenity List:Indoor pool(s)Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessSpa Services Link to comment
