Put in several bids yesterday from 100-125 for 3* up in this zone and Soho-Tribeca, to no avail. Thought I would hit in that range based on Hotwire, PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, and non-opaque deals pricing as low as $151 for a 3.5* but nothing came up. After 24 hours, I bid again, first at 3* in Downtown - Financial District only, and hit for this upgraded star level:Andaz Wall Street - A Hyatt Hotel ****Check-In Friday, March 22, 2013 Check-Out Sunday, March 24, 2013Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $135.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 2Room Subtotal: $270.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $63.22 (USD)Total Charged to Card: $333.22 (USD)Cheapest rate on the hotel's site for these dates is $195/night, so there is a good savings anyway.
