Priceline Hotel: Union Square May 13

Hi, would like a good quality hotel in union square, San Francisco for one night stay 1st may 2013. Tried bidding $95 (cheeky bid I know but thought I'd start low) for four star but rejected. Notice that I can bid again by changing selection - are there any areas in san francisco with no 4 star hotel than I can safely add to ensure I get union square? Thanks

Did you bid USE, USW or both? Is only one of these or are both acceptable?

There are SIX re-bid zones available when bidding 4* in this region but you need to know how to figure these out on your own since they can change at anytime and should therefore be double checked just before bidding.

Thanks. I had selected USW and USE. I'll try again after the 24 hours selecting USE first, then if refused I'll add USW. Had used Priceline once many years ago, it's all coming back to me now. I'll let your know how I get on.

With 4*'s in either zone showing at $135/$145, I think you're likely not too far off at $95. I'd continue higher by $5's, and I'm guessing a win will take around $110-120. Thanks for keeping us updated on what you decide.
